I have my new family who sent this update. Boedy has been part of our family for one week today! As you can see, he and his big brother, Pete, are practically inseparable. Tooty is a 3-year-old, 14-lb Miniature Schnauzer who is new to rescue and ready to find the loving family she deserves. This sweet girl recently completed a 10-day stray hold at BARC while waiting for her owners to reclaim her. Sadly, no one came for her.   Despite the stress and uncertainty, Tooty remained happy, friendly, and resilient throughout her stay. In fact, her handler at BARC was genuinely sad to see her leave. We’re still getting to know Tooty, but so far she has been an absolute delight. She is house-, crate-, and leash-trained, easy to groom, friendly, affectionate, playful, and eager to please. She will surely be your future shadow.
Tooty appears to do well with other dogs, though she’s a little overwhelmed by the large number of pups in her foster home. She would likely thrive as an only dog soaking up all the attention, or in a home with one or two calm, easygoing canine companions. If

Krusher was our special needs pup who was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Disease. We are so thankful for adopters like Cristy who are willing to take on a special needs pup.
