Meet Momo, a 3-year-old, 18 lb Schnauzer mix who was rescued from a shelter. He was brought to the shelter after he was hit by a vehicle with extensive injuries to his pelvis and left back leg, along with lots of road rash. Even though his injuries were quite painful, he’s been nothing but sweet and gentle. Unfortunately, the left back leg was so badly damaged that it couldn’t be saved. He had surgery 6/23/26 for the amputation and to repair the broken pelvis. Momo will be recovering for the next 6-8 weeks while his pelvis injury heals. Sadly, he also tested positive for heartworm disease, so he will need to go through that treatment too. Poor guy hs been through a lot. His surgery was a little over $5K and he still needs to be neutered and to go thru the heartworm treatment. Any donations for his vet bills are greatly appreciated.
