Feta (Houston, TX)

I’m Feta, a 9-year-old, 11 lb Miniature Schnauzer with natural ears and a docked tail. I came all the way from Oklahoma to Houston so Schnauzer Rescue could find me a forever home. My former owner was a breeder who passed, and the family immediately looked for rescue to take me in. I made the trip like a champ and made myself right at home with my foster family. I have a crate if I want some downtime, but that doesn’t happen often. I’m house trained with the doggy door. That leash thing is weird though, and I know I’ll catch on eventually, but for now, I get to go out the door when I need to and come back in. It’s fun. I’m scheduled to get “fixed” soon, and a nice dental, as that is definitely overdue. I sometimes do a little skip step on my back leg, so that will be evaluated when I go back to the vet, and they can find out what is wrong. I may be nine, but you can teach an old dog new tricks.
