Camila Rose is a beautiful 3-year-old, 10-pound Miniature Schnauzer who has officially retired from motherhood and is finally getting the chance to enjoy life as someone’s beloved companion. After lovingly raising her puppies, it’s now Camila Rose’s turn to be spoiled. She’ll be starting heartworm treatment soon and is expected to be ready for adoption in early September. In the meantime, she’s busy showing her foster family what an incredible little dog she is. The best way to describe Camila Rose? An absolute love bug! She has a calm, easygoing personality and simply loves everyone she meets. Whether it’s people or dogs of any size, Camila Rose makes friends wherever she goes. She’s always happy to soak up pets, cuddles, and affection, and she’ll gladly snuggle with anyone willing to love on her. She’s also an A+ houseguest! Camila Rose is house-trained, has mastered the doggy door, is crate-trained (although she’d much rather sleep snuggled up with her family), and is learning that leash walks can be pretty fun. She rides beautifully in the car, is wonderful for grooming, and takes life’s adventures in stride. Her foster reports that she gets along beautifully with her three foster sisters and has recently discovered the joy of toys—especially the squeaky ones! Watching her learn how to simply be a carefree dog has been a heartwarming experience. Camila Rose has spent the first part of her life taking care of others. Now she’s ready for a family who will take care of her—showering her with love, belly rubs, cozy beds, and all the happiness she’s missed.
