I’m Kenna, a female white and blonde Miniature Schnauzer mix who is about eighteen months with natural ears and tail. SRT was contacted by the shelter where I ended up because I was injured. They took me to the orthopedic surgeon and I had something called a femoral head osteotomy. Big words for removing the head of my one femur since it was broken. I also had a very large hernia repaired and the vet was amazed I survived my collision with whatever hit me. I can’t remember, but it was more than likely a car. I’m recovering well and getting lots of cuddle time with my foster. Sadly, I also tested positive for heartworm disease and will start treatment at the end of November and should be ready for adoption in time for Christmas. I’m house and crate trained and am a quiet girl. My name should have been lapdog because I LOVE being held by my foster and taking naps. Stay tuned for updates.
