Galaxy is a handsome 17-month-old, 12-pound white Miniature Schnauzer with natural ears, a docked tail, and the sweetest personality you could ask for. While he’s still a young pup, life has already thrown him a few challenges. Galaxy struggles with allergies that have affected his skin and coat. Wanting him to receive the specialized care he needs, his family made the difficult decision to surrender him to Schnauzer Rescue Texas. Now, he’s on the path to feeling better and is looking for a loving foster home where he can heal while we help him become the happy, healthy dog he deserves to be. His foster reports that Galaxy is an absolute sweetheart. He’s gentle, affectionate, and wonderfully patient with children. He loves playing with other dogs and has a submissive, easygoing personality that makes him a great canine companion. Whether it’s a trip to the groomer, a visit to the veterinarian, or a ride in the car, Galaxy takes it all in stride like a champ. He hasn’t been around cats, so we can’t say for certain how he’d react, but based on his calm, submissive nature, we think he has the potential to do well with a proper introduction.
