It’s hard to believe that I’ve been with SRT  for three years before finding my forever home. I was basically feral when rescued and SRT invested lots of time with a  trainer to help me overcome my fear of people. Even so, I’m not a pup to just run over to new people, I’m still a   little hesitant. That didn’t stop my new mom, Tracy, from giving me a chance. The cats weren’t very welcoming to me, so I  stole their bed as retaliation. But we’re all getting along just fine now. At SRT, it really was  All About  Me! Hugs – Huey

Honestly I  was petrified when  SRT first rescued me from the shelter. I was so  scared, I couldn’t even walk in a leash, I just  went flat on the  ground. I may have  been a  stray in Houston, but  my travels weren’t over. I’m now living  with my new  family  in  Harrisburg,  PA. Wow  what a  change in  scenery. Mom and Dad said I’m actually a godsend being the ultimate stress reliever in  these times. I  get to  go on several walks a day  when it’s nice out  and  of course practicing social distancing.
