I’m Bessie, a female salt and pepper Miniature Schnauzer mix (probably shih tau or Lhasa apso) who is about thirteen years old and weighs about eighteen pounds with natural ears and tail. I was found on the streets by another rescue who contacted SRT to help me. My foster said that I’m so sweet and easy. I’ve been to the vet and they have confirmed that I’m a healthy senior girl. I’m scheduled for a dental and spay soon and will be ready for my new home. In the meantime, I need a foster home. You can see that I’m all packed and ready to go. I love the outdoors, am very friendly, good with other dogs and cats. That’s my feline friend Winnie at the bottom of the picture. I’m house trained and kennel trained and easy to groom and good at the vet. My coat is in horrible shape, but now that I’m with SRT and getting good food and being kept clean, it will be nice and shiny again soon.
