Meet gentle Lyda, a 10-year-old, 16 lb Miniature Schnauzer who was pick up by a Good Samaritan after seeing her get dumped. This girl is very sweet and is good with other dogs. She is just a calm easygoing girl. She is crate trained and just recently arrived to SRT so we are still learning about her. She did fine at her vet visit. Not surprising at all, she tested positive for heartworm disease. After she is spayed and gets her dental she will start heartworm treatment. She would love a foster home where she can just chill out and relax. Approved fosters, if you can help her, email SRT@SchnauzerRescueTexas.me She will be ready for adoption around the beginning of December.
