Captain Skipper is a handsome 5-year-old, 12-pound Miniature Schnauzer who was rescued from a local shelter and is now enjoying the good life with his foster family. He’s soaking up all the TLC and showing everyone what a sweet little guy he really is! Skipper is settling in beautifully. He sleeps like a champ in his crate with no accidents and appears to be house-trained. He’s also discovering the fun of toys and is beginning to show his playful side. And when playtime is over? This boy is happy to be a little snuggle bug and enjoy some quality time with his people. He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home, although he can occasionally be a bit vocal with the bigger dogs—especially when he first comes out of his crate. Once he settles in, he does well with his canine friends. Skipper is also a true Schnauzer at heart and has discovered one of his favorite hobbies: squirrel patrol! He definitely thinks chasing squirrels is serious business! Captain Skipper is a sweet boy who is learning, growing in confidence, and enjoying every bit of his second chance. Now he’s ready to find a family who will love him, spoil him, and let him be their favorite little first mate.
