Introducing the adorable Davis Avery—a charming 1-year-old, 10 lb. Schnauzer mix who has already captured hearts despite a rough start. Along with six of his furry friends, Davis was found abandoned in a remote area, but luck smiled upon them when a kindhearted stranger came to the rescue! Davis is currently settling into his new foster home with Schnauzer Rescue, where his wonderful foster mom is excited to update you on his personality as she gets to know him better. What we do know is that this little gentleman has a gentle soul. Initially a bit shy, Davis takes his time adjusting to new experiences and is learning to trust—sometimes hesitating to take treats from your hand and still figuring out the joys of lap cuddles. But don’t worry; once he’s comfortable, he’ll snuggle up close and drift off to dreamland in your arms. Davis has a curious nature and loves to follow his buddy Imogen around, although he prefers to keep his meals to himself—he’s too polite to fight for his food!
