Meet Fudge, a charming 9-year-old, 18-pound black male Miniature Schnauzer who just arrived at SRT and is ready to steal your heart! Fudge’s journey hasn’t been easy—he came from a backyard breeder and sadly missed out on the love and care every Miniature Schnauzer deserves. When he was surrendered, he was covered in mats and had severe dental issues, a very nasty ear infection and a skin infection. Thanks to some loving medical care, including medication for his ear and skin and a recent neutering, Fudge is on the road to recovery. What’s truly amazing is his sweet and gentle spirit—despite years without grooming, he was incredibly patient during his 3 hour grooming session. He’s also a calm and quiet car rider, content in his crate, and gets along well with other dogs. Fudge is currently looking for a loving foster home while SRT searches for his forever retirement home—a place where he can finally enjoy the comfort, care, and affection he’s always deserved.
