Marwin, a 2-year-old, 17 lb Miniature Schnauzer, was recently abandoned at the Pasadena Animal Shelter and spent a long, lonely week waiting in a kennel. Sadly, he was not adopted, partly because he was found to have heartworms after not receiving preventative care from his previous owners. The good news is that heartworms are very treatable, especially at his young age, and our vet expects him to make a full and speedy recovery. Even better, the vet describes Marwin as incredibly sweet, friendly, and just looking for someone to give him a chance. Right now, we are at capacity and don’t have a place for him to go. We would love to get him out of a kennel environment as soon as possible and into a safe, loving home where he can decompress and begin his healing journey. Can you help Marwin? Ask for him when you complete your application under the Adopt tab.
