My new family heard about my health issues and decided it didn’t matter, they wanted me anyway. I was diagnosed with pancreas insufficiency which means, my body isn’t processing food and that was why I was so skinny. A visit to the internal medicine vet and some pretty expensive bloodwork confirmed the best treatment plan for me. I’ve gained two pounds since being rescued.
