I had a long way to go before I was ready for adoption. Those nasty heart worms were addressed first. Then I had cataract surgery and all we going well until I got an ulcer in my one eye. The good news is that it is healed. The even better news is that my foster family think I’m perfect for their home and have decided I should stay. At SRT, it really was All About Me! Hugs –  Pierre

I’m now  living in the beautiful state of Washington with my SRT sister, Jennifer. I made the trip with a nice volunteer  from the Delta Animal  Rescue  Team  from Houston to my new home.  I got lots of hugs along the way and am getting lots of cuddle time now. I’m so happy that my new family didn’t require a pup who was 100% perfect and were willing to adopt me even though I have a heart condition. They are even going to get a stroller for me so I can go on walks. At SRT, it really was All About Me! Hugs – Carlo

My new family came over to New Waverly and took me home. I  have a fancy new name too. Maceo means “gift of God” and Nui is Hawaiian word that means important or big. I also  have  a big sister who I follow around everywhere.  At SRT, it really was All About Me! Hugs – Mamba

I’m with my new family and they are perfect. My first selfie with my mom who says they are absolutely in love with me and so lucky to have found me. She said I’ve stolen their hearts.  Wow, I love that.  At SRT, it really was All About Me! Hugs – Poppy
