I’m Amelia, a female black Miniature Schnauzer who is about six years old and weighs about sixteen pounds with floppy bunny-like natural ears and a docked tail. I’m on a diet đ with my target weight at thirteen pounds. No more human snacks for me.  Although I’m five years old I have  the energy and playfulness of a two-year-old. I’m lightning fast, zipping around like a blur of black fur that can leap from the floor to the couch in a single bound. My favorite activities include playing with my stuffed animals, shaking them around to show them who’s boss, but donât worry, I’m not a shredder! I love my toys and would love for you to get on the ground and play keep away with me. I’m a vocal girl that loves to alert you when the door opens or closes, or if I think you forgot about me outside. My foster mom is working on my quiet voice.  I enjoy short walks but be warned, if I spot a squirrel, it is game on.  When itâs time to relax, I’m all about cuddles and am happy to snuggle up with you on the couch or curl up in your lap. I haven’t been tested with small children, but my foster feels confident I would be fantastic in a family setting. I have a gentle temperament and take treats like a lady, with no rush or aggression and would likely thrive in a home where I can give and receive love from everyone.
