Alexandria (Houston, TX)

Alexandria is a sweet, gentle girl with a calm and loving personality. She was rescued from a Houston shelter in need of immediate medical attention. She had surgery to remove bladder stones and has made a full recovery. She’s about eleven years old and weighs about twenty-three pounds.  She enjoys her daily walks, always happy and well-behaved—she’s never had an accident in the house! Whether snoozing in her cozy crate or relaxing on the couch, she loves her downtime. She’s a mostly quiet girl, but she’ll let you know when she’s ready to go out by giving a little bark. She does not react to other dogs on walks; she’s very easygoing and confident. While Alexandria isn’t clingy, she thrives on gentle petting and affection. She’s been through a lot and is still adjusting to her new life, making her a special, resilient soul. A little mischievous at times, she can be quick to dash out an open door.  She’s a wonderful, low-key companion looking for her forever home!
