Four-year-old, 10 lb. Kora has had quite a lot happen in a very short amount of time. Somewhere along the way, this precious girl was dumped. And if that wasn’t enough change for one little dog, Kora arrived with a few extra passengers on board. She is very, VERY pregnant, and her puppies are expected to make their grand entrance any day now! Right now, Kora is taking life slowly—and with a belly that big, we really can’t blame her. She is an incredibly sweet, gentle and quiet girl. With so many changes happening around her, Kora is understandably shy and still trying to figure out whether she is finally somewhere safe. She hasn’t even found a reason to use her voice yet, her foster mom hasn’t heard a single bark from her, even when the other dogs decide there is something important to announce. For now, Kora’s only job is to rest, feel safe, eat well, and get ready to be a mama. Once her puppies arrive, she’ll have the very important job of raising them until they’re big enough to start lives of their own. And then it will finally be Kora’s turn. Her turn to be someone’s baby instead of taking care of babies. Her turn to learn that home means you don’t get left behind. Her turn to discover soft beds, treats, belly rubs, adventures, and a family who chooses her forever. Kora isn’t ready for adoption just yet, but we wanted you to meet her now. Follow along as this sweet mama welcomes her babies and begins the next chapter of her own story. We have a feeling you’re going to want to stick around for this one.
