Homer is a handsome 3-year-old, 19-pound Schnauzer mix whose journey to a better life began on the scorching streets of San Antonio. Thankfully, a kind-hearted Good Samaritan rescued him from the heat and searched tirelessly for his family. When no one came forward to claim him, they turned to Schnauzer Rescue Texas to help him find the loving home he deserves. Homer has now been fully vetted, is up to date on his vaccinations, heartworm negative, and neutered. He’s healthy, safe, and ready for the next chapter of his life. Right now, Homer is looking for a foster home where he can decompress, experience life as a cherished family member, and allow us to learn more about his personality. Every day in foster care helps us better understand his likes, dislikes, and the type of forever home that will be the perfect fit.
