Schnauzer Rescue of Texas (SRT) does not operate a shelter.  Instead, we prefer our dogs be in the loving arms of those in a foster home….an individual, couple or family that helps care for the dog, monitor its socialization skills and teach it a few new tricks (like house training if necessary)!  It’s one of our most important needs as a rescue organization.  The image of our tri-fold brochure on fostering is found below.  Give it a read and see if being a foster home is something you’d like to try!  All foster homes require an approved Adopter/Foster Application that’s found under the ‘Adopt’ tab right here on our website!  Are you interested in learning how you might introduce a foster dog to your current pets?  You might like to read this informative article by clicking this link!
