Shatzi – fostered in Austin

I’m Shatzi, I’m a female salt and pepper Miniature Schnauzer who is about twelve years old and weighs fourteen pounds. I have cropped ears and a docked tail. My family turned me into a shelter because of some “domestic issues”. That’s all I know is that I wasn’t being taken care of anyway, so I’m better off now. I do have some neck pain and am getting some crate rest to allow that to heal. I would do best in an all adult home or with older children because of the issue with my neck. I’m usually friendly with other dogs, unless they are aggressive toward me and then my schnauzerness comes out. Getting groomed right now is difficult because of my pain and I’m very anxious about being hurt. I know I’ll do better when I am feeling better. My foster mom says I’m really sweet and spunky. She says I want to be the Queen Bee. That’s a good thing, right? I’m a low key girl, well behaved, house and crate trained and love going on walks. Click the ‘Adopt’ tab, complete your adoption application and put me, Shatzi, as a dog of interest. My adoption fee is $100.
