Toto & Heinrich - adopt 1    image1     noid-IMG_7291

“Disability is not a brave struggle or courage in the face of adversity. Disability is an art. It’s an ingenious way to live.” Neil Marcus. That’s how I feel about it.  And that’s how my new mom & dad, Mary & John, felt about it too!  There are lots of really wonderful people in the world.  But there’s also some really great people in the world!  And I think I got the cream of the crop! Mom & dad wanted a little one who need a home.  I was known as Heinrich and had a slight disability after I was thrown from a car. But mom & dad looked right past this and said they could give me the home I deserved!  Now I’m called Trooper because of all the things I’ve been through.  But through it all, I’ve kept my disposition.  Mom & dad have an adult son and he comes to see me sometimes.  I like him too.  Mom reports in that I’m doing great, perfect even! I was a little shy the first day but have made myself at home since then!  I’m safe here.  I’m loved here.  And I’m going to give all that love right back!  At SRT, it really was All About Me!  Hugs – Trooper
