Happy Meal (San Antonio, TX)

I’m Happy Meal, a male black and white parti-colored Miniature Schnauzer who is almost two years old and weighs about twenty pounds with natural ears and a docked tail. I was surrendered by my owner as she felt it wasn’t the right home for me there. She contacted SRT to they can find me the perfect home. I’m fine with other dogs and cats. Now that I know the other pups, am having lots of fun playing.  I’m a little nervous right now as everything is a bit new to me. I haven’t been around children and think it would be best to go to an all adult home. I’m house, crate and leash trained and have been good being groomed and at the vet. I’m on a diet so no more happy meals for me.  Click the Adopt tab, complete your application and ask for me, Happy Meal, as a pup of interest. My adoption fee is $400.

Satin (Spring, TX)

I’m Satin, a female salt and pepper Miniature Schnauzer who is about two years old and weighs about thirteen pounds with natural ears and a docked tail. I just arrived to SRT and have made some new four-legged friends. So far, my temporary foster knows that I’m a sweet girl. I probably wouldn’t do well in an apartment as I tend to bark when I hear strange noises. Sometimes just some stuff on TV. I’m good with children over eight years old, but the young toddlers do scare me, so I’d prefer not to share a home with them. I’m house and crate trained and good being groomed and handled. I’m getting “fixed” in a few weeks and will be ready for adoption. Click the Adopt tab, complete your application and ask for me, Satin, as a pup of interest. My adoption fee is $400

Aleah (Spring, TX)

I’m Aleah, a female salt and pepper Miniature Schnauzer who is about ten years old and weighs about twelve pounds with natural ears and a docked tail. I was found in a ditch and a nice person got me out of there. Searches for my family were unsuccessful. I had no tag or microchip. I do now. The finder contacted SRT to help me and I’ve been to the vet and have had all my vaccines and am being treated for a dry eye condition. I need a drop in each eye every day. Easy peasy. I’m a friendly girl, who does fine with dogs and would probably be fine with cats too. I’ve been very quiet and easy to handle. I have a much overdue grooming and was very patient with the groomer. I’m scheduled for a very much needed dental. I’m looking for a foster home until my retirement home is found. Click the Adopt tab, complete your application and ask for me, Aleah, as a pup of interest. My adoption fee is $200

Schofield (Houston, TX)

I’m Schofield, a male liver and cream Miniature Schnauzer who is about three years old and weighs about eighteen pounds with natural ears and a docked tail. My owners turned me into the shelter as they could no longer care for me. Luckily the shelter contacted SRT immediately so I could escape quickly. So far in my temporary foster home, they know that I’m good with other pups and even the cat. I’m a little timid at first meeting new people, but I warm up quickly. I have been quiet so far and haven’t been destructive in the house at all. My house training is being evaluated, but I think I’ll get my certificate soon. Click the Adopt tab, complete your application and ask for me, Schofield, as a pup of interest. My adoption fee is $400

Lovely (Spring, TX)

I’m Lovely, a female tri-colored Miniature Schnauzer mix who is about eight months old and weighs about thirteen pounds with natural ears and tail. I was found on the streets and the good people who took me in looked high and low for my owners without any luck. They then contacted SRT to help find me a wonderful new home. I love people and absolutely positively love belly rubs. I’m good being groomed and bathed and riding in the car. I’m a little nervous around other pups and tend to hide from them; however my finder had a sixty pound dog and we were best friends. I’m a playful happy girl.  As more is learned about me, my bio will be updated. Click the Adopt tab, complete your application and ask for me, Lovely, as a pup of interest. My adoption fee is $400

Bentley Bear (Spring, TX)

I’m Bentley Bear, a male black Miniature Schnauzer who is about ten years old and weighs about fourteen pounds with natural ears and a docked tail. Sadly my dad passed away and then there was no time or money to care for me. SRT was contacted to help me. I had a much overdo grooming which took two hours to get all of the mats off of me and the groomer thought I did really well. I also had a bath and while I didn’t think that was necessary I have to admit, I feel so much better now. I’m house and crate trained and have been a very quiet boy. I’m perfectly fine around other dogs. I’m scheduled for a serious dental and will get neutered. I’m looking for a foster home while SRT searches for my retirement home. Click the Adopt tab, complete your application and ask for me, BentleyBear, as a pup of interest. My adoption fee is $200

Chato (San Antonio, TX)

I’m Chato a male white Miniature Poodle who is about nine months old and weighs about eighteen pounds with natural ears and tail. I came up from Laredo and am with a nice foster who has a few pups and we all get along great. I’m a nervous little guy though and new people do scare me. I’m in boarding at Pup Pup & Away getting lots of attention and some training to help me overcome my fear of strangers. Since I have some issues, an all adult home with an experienced dog owner is needed. My trainer will continue to assist my new owners to continue my socialization.   Click the Adopt tab, complete your application and ask for me, Chato, as a pup of interest. My adoption fee is $400

** Adoption Pending ** Jedi

I’m Jedi a male Doodle who is about ten months old and weighs a thin thirty-two pounds with natural ears and tail. I was rescued off the streets and all the searching never turned up my owners. My foster thinks I’m super smart and do great playing with another pup. I’m good on a leash and love going on walks and playing fetch. I’m a vocal boy on walks though as I enjoy talking to there pups and people.  I’m a fast learner and understand No and Git, hot to sit and am working on stay/leave it/drop it/down. I’m all puppy with puppy energy who likes to grab shoes and carry things around. I like to chase the cat, but the cat doesn’t like it. I just want to play. I do have some separation anxiety and like to be close to a human or another pup. I love snuggles and to be hugged and am learning it isn’t nice to jump on people. Click the Adopt tab, complete your application and ask for me, Jedi, as a pup of interest. My adoption fee is $600

Sherman Bandera (San Antonio, TX)

I’m Sherman Bandera, a senior male salt and pepper Miniature Schnauzer who weighs about twenty pounds with natural ears and a docked tail. I was just rescued from a shelter and am with a foster. I’ll be headed to the vet soon to get checked out, neutered and whatever else I might need. I’m a friendly boy and good with other pups. As more is learned about me, my bio will be updated. ** Adoption Pending ** Charlotte Irene

I’m Charlotte Irene, a female black Miniature Schnauzer who is about six months old and weighs about fifteen pounds with natural ears and a docked tail. My owners are seniors and they decided a puppy was just too much for them and asked SRT to find me a great new home. I’m a sweet girl who is good with other dogs and am all puppy. I’m working on my house training certificate and will be spayed very soon. Click the Adopt tab, complete your application and ask for me, Charlotte Irene, as a pup  of interest. Goose Berry (Buda, TX)

I’m Goose Berry, a male black Giant Schnauzer/Standard Poodle/Lab mix (maybe) who is about a year old and weighs about sixty pounds with natural ears and tail. I was rescued from a  local shelter by a nice family who wanted to save my life. I’m house, crate and leash trained and very friendly towards humans. I love kids too, but since I’m so big and tend to still jump, probably best to have older kids so I don’t knock the littles over. I get to go to daycare and have a great time with the other pups. I’m also good around cats. My humans say I’m sweet, smart, playful and just love attention. No issues at either the vet or groomer. Click the Adopt tab, complete your application and ask for Goose Berry, as a pup of interest. My adoption fee is $400

Clementine (San Antonio, TX)

I’m Clementine, a female salt and pepper Miniature Schnauzer who is about five years old and weighs about eighteen pounds with natural ears and tail. I was found as a stray way down south and was happy to end up with a foster with SRT. I did test positive for heartworm disease and have been treated and ready for adoption. I’m house and crate trained (my safe place) and mostly a quiet low key kind of girl. I’m good around children and other dogs. My favorite human is the house is the nine year old human sister–we enjoy playing together. I haven’t been around cats, but my foster mom doesn’t think I would chase them or even care they are there.  I would do well in a calm environment as I get anxious when there’s a lot of loud noises. Another calm canine in the home would be nice as I learn what it’s like to live in a home and to be well loved and cared for.  I like to stay close to my humans, but I’m hand shy. I do love to go on walks and am well behaved around other leashed pups. My foster mom says I’m a sensitive soul. Click the Adopt tab, complete your application and ask for me, Clementine, as a pup of interest. My adoption fee is $300

Tatiana (San Antonio, TX)

I’m Tatiana a black female Miniature Schnauzer mix who is about six years old and weighs about ten pounds with natural ears and tail. I was rescued from a shelter way down in south Texas. I had what is called a microphthalmia which is a malformed eye and the dog doctor thought it should be removed as it looked like it was causing me pain. I had that surgery and also got fixed and a nice dental. I’m recovering very well and doing great with my foster family. My temporary foster has been wonderful and I get to curl up in laps and get lots of pets. They describe me as super easy and chill. My house training certificate has been signed. Click the Adopt tab, complete your application and ask for me, Tatiana, as a pup of interest. My adoption fee is $300

Xandra (LaPorte, TX)

I’m Xandra, a female chocolate and cream merleMiniature Schnauzer who is about five years old and weighs about fourteen pounds with natural and a docked tail. I’m good with other dogs, being groomed and bathed.  I’m crate and leash trained and my house training certificate should be in the mail very soon. I’m a skittish girl, so I think my forever home should be an all adult one as I think the little kids would scare me too much. Once I know I can trust my human, I love to cuddle with them.  Click the Adopt tab, complete your application and ask for me, Xandra, as a  pup of interest. My adoption fee is $300

Gerald (Montgomery, TX)

I’m Gerald a male white and brown Miniature Schnauzer who is about ten years old and weighs about twenty-one pounds with natural ears and tail. Sadly in my senior years I ended up in a shelter and was definitely in need of some TLC. I scored a great foster home and have been getting lots of snuggle time and enjoy hanging out with my foster dad watching the games. My foster family describe me as a sweet and gentle guy. My hobbies include sleeping through the night, morning naps, snuggles, afternoon naps, and exploring the back yard with my foster dog siblings. Although I’m nearly blind, I’m a curious guy and sometimes run into things, but I’m a quick learner though so I know to  avoid known hazards like stairs. I’m house trained as long as you listen when I tell you it is time for an outdoor break. I’m getting a dental and “fixed” and will be ready for adoption. Click the Adopt tab, complete your application and ask for me, Gerald, as a pup of interest.

Abby (LaPorte, TX)

I’m Abby, a female black and white Miniature Schnauzer mix who is about ten years old and weighs about twenty-eight pounds (yes I’m on a diet) with natural ears and tail. I was found on the hot streets of Gainesville dodging cars and a nice lady picked me up. I love to play and would probably do well with children. However, I never learned to take treats nicely, so best if I’m not with young children. I get along fine perfectly fine with other pups –even do well with ones that don’t like dogs. I’m good being groomed and at the vet. She describes me as wonderful. I’m not timid or shy and will share attention. I enjoy running in the yard. I’m house and leash trained and well behaved. Apartment living probably wouldn’t work for me as I tend to bark some when left in a crate when my foster leaves. But if left loose in the house, I’m quiet and I’m not destructive so no need for the crate.  Click the Adopt tab, complete your application and ask for me, Abby, as a pup of interest. My adoption fee is $200

Kylie (Spring, TX)

I’m Kylie, a female salt and pepper Miniature Schnauzer who is about ten years (or more)and who weighs about sixteen pounds with natural ears and docked tail. I was surrendered to SRT and taken to the vet. I’m a very sweet girl who does fine with other dogs and being groomed. I’m quiet and calm and since I’m a senior girl, just need a comfy bed so I can nap. I am blind and deaf, but do learn the house and get around ok. I was anemic and will be retested in a few weeks, but in the meantime, I just need a retirement home so I can live out my days in comfort. I nice soft doggie bed is perfect.
